About Czech Frosties
Also known as the Schwarzgrannen or Czech Black-Haired, the Czech Frosty is a medium-sized rabbit that was developed in the early 1950s in the Czech Republic. They were accepted into the German and European standards in the 1990s, where the national breed of the Czech Republic began to captivate hearts across the world.

In 2013, Don Havlicek imported the first Czech Frosties from the Czech Republic, and began the process of ARBA acceptance. It was accepted as the 51st ARBA breed in 2022 at the ARBA National Convention in Reno, Nevada, and the club was officially chartered in November of that year! The Czech Frosty became the second cylindrical breed, and the first to be posed in the Upright Cylindrical pose.

The Czech Frosty Club is open to those who wish to breed and show this beautiful breed. Welcome!

Czech Frosty Rabbit Auction
to benefit Don Havlicek Memorial Scholarship
Rabbits selected from top Czech Frosty breeders will be offered at
auction during the ARBA Convention in November in Indianapolis, IN.
Please czech back for the day, time, and location of the auction as we get
closer to convention.
The Czech Frosty Club will designate at least 2
rabbits that will be reserved for youth only bidding. Selected rabbits will
have a cage tag, designating them as a Showcase rabbit. Pedigrees will
be available for inspection at the Czech Frosty Club booth. Rabbits will
be available for inspection just prior to the start of the auction.
Payment can be made by cash, check, or PayPal. 50% of winning bid to
Scholarship fund, 50% to breeder.
