CZECH FROSTY RABBIT CLUB
SWEEPSTAKES SHOW RULES
(Adopted December 12, 2022)
In order to promote the exhibition of CZECH FROSTY RABBITS in all shows, the Czech Frosty Rabbit
Club (hereinafter CFRC) authorizes the following to govern these shows:
ARTICLE I
SWEEPSTAKES REQUIREMENTS
RULE 1: No Club or Association shall hold a Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show unless their show is
sanctioned by the American Rabbit Breeders Association and their ARBA sanction number is sent to the
CFRC Sweepstakes Chair along with their sweepstakes sanction fee.
Rule 2: No Club or Association shall hold a Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show without written permission
from the CFRC Sweepstakes Chair.
Rule 3: A Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Sanction can only be issued to an ARBA chartered club or
association.
Rule 4: All requests to hold a Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show must be sent to the CFRC Sweepstakes
Chair in advance of the show, accompanied by the proper sanction fee and the Sponsoring Club’s name,
ARBA sanction number, and the date of the show, the Sponsoring Club’s Show Secretary’s name and
contact information including email, mailing address and phone number.
Rule 5: Announcement of a Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show must appear in the show catalog as
follows:

Dues: Adult – $5.00/yr
Husband/Wife – $8.00/yr
Youth – $3.00/yr
Family – $10.00/yr
Sanction Fees: Open $10.00

Combined Open & Youth $10.00
Rule 6: If no Czech Frosty rabbits are entered at the show, that club’s next Czech Frosty sanction request
is free.
Rule 7: To qualify for sweepstakes points, an exhibitor must be a member of the Czech Frosty Rabbit
Club at the time of the show or join during the show before judging begins.
Rule 8: Show reports for Sweepstakes should be sent to the CFRC Sweepstakes Chair. Sweepstakes
series to run from July 1st of one year to June 30th of the next year. Any show reports for Sweepstakes
not received by August 30th will be declared void.
Rule 9: The Club or Association holding or sponsoring the Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show must offer
and pay at least $3.00 for Best of Breed and $2.00 for Best Opposite Sex Czech Frosty provided there
are at least ten (10) paid entries.
Rule 10: A set of rules and printed or electronic form for listing the winners and exhibitors will be
furnished to the Secretary of the sanctioned show by the CFRC Sweepstakes Chair, or a CFRC
sanctioned show number for those indicating use of computer generated forms. Those same computer
generated forms or the supplied form is to be filled out and returned to the CFRC Sweepstakes Chair
along with the page from the catalog listing the Czech Frosty Sweepstakes Show within thirty (30) days
after the close of the show.
Rule 11: Interpretation of the Sweepstakes rules by the CFRC Sweepstakes Chair will be binding on all
shows.
ARTICLE II
SWEEPSTAKES RULES
Rule 1: All exhibitors shall abide by the show rules of the ARBA with these additional rules of the Czech
Frosty Rabbit Club (CFRC).
Rule 2: To qualify for Sweepstakes points, an exhibitor must be a member in good standing of the CFRC
at the time of the show or join during the show BEFORE judging. If two or more exhibitors show together,
all must be members of the CFRC prior to the beginning of judging to qualify for sweepstakes points.
Rule 3: All Open and Youth Class exhibitor’s personal name(s) and addresses must be listed on the entry
form for all ARBA shows. Entries will not be accepted in rabbitry or family names. A member’s name and
address as listed on the show entry must match the CFRC membership record.
Rule 4: Youth exhibitors may show in either Youth or Open, but Sweepstakes points earned will be
recorded in the division they are won in. They will NOT be combined.
Rule 5: Open and Youth Sweepstakes points shall be accumulated by CFRC members in good standing
and to be determined as follows:
A) Six (6) points for First
Four (4) points for Second
Three (3) points for Third
Two (2) points for Fourth
One (1) point for Fifth
These above points for each placement is to be multiplied by the number of rabbits judged in each class
(not number of entries).
B) Two (2) points for Best of Breed
One (1) point for Best Opposite Sex of Breed
These above Best of Breed points to be multiplied by the total number of all Czech Frosties judged (not
number of entries).
Rule 6: Open and Youth Regular Sweepstakes points to be determined by adding the Placement points,
Best of Breed points, and National show points together.
Rule 7: There will be a separate Fur class Sweepstakes points for Open and Youth. These points will
NOT count in the regular (Open/Youth) class Sweepstakes. They will be counted in the Fur class
Sweepstakes. The Fur class points will be figured as follows:
Six (6) points for First
Four (4) points for Second
Three (3) points for Third
Two (2) points for Fourth
One (1) point for Fifth
These above Fur points for each placement to be multiplied by the number of rabbits judged in the Fur
class.
Rule 8: Standings in all Sweepstakes will be published quarterly in the newsletter and on the website.
Rule 9: One hundred (100) bonus points to be awarded in Open and Youth regular Sweepstakes for
showing at the National Czech Frosty breed Convention or the ARBA National Convention.
Rule 10: Sweepstakes points will be awarded to Open and Youth in the regular and fur classes at the
National Czech Frosty breed Convention and the ARBA National Convention as follows:
First = 10 points times the number judged
Second = 9 points times the number judged
Third = 8 points times the number judged
Fourth = 7 points times the number judged
Fifth = 6 points times the number judged
Sixth = 5 points times the number judged
Seventh = 4 points times the number judged
Eighth = 3 points times the number judged
Ninth = 2 points times the number judged
Tenth = 1 point times the number judged
Bonus points awarded for BOB and BOS are the same as CFRC Show Rules Article II Rule 6 (B and C)
and Rule 8.
Rule 11: Display awards will be calculated by the number of rabbits a member has placed in the top ten
(10) positions of each class. The numerical value of the placement points without the multiplier shall be
used to calculate the points. In the case of a tie, the breeder with the highest placements will receive the
Best Display award. Best Display is given only at the ARBA Convention and the CFRC National Show.
Rule 12: Sweepstakes awards will be given at the ARBA National Convention show following the end of
the sweepstakes year. An exhibitor must be a member of the CFRC in good standing on June 30 of the
sweepstakes year to qualify for awards.
Rule 13: Awards will be given in the following categories:
Open and Youth Regular Sweepstakes Award 1st – 5th
Open and Youth Regular Sweepstakes Certificate 6th – 10th
Open and Youth Fur Sweepstakes Award 1st – 3

Open and Youth Fur Sweepstakes Certificate 4th – 5th
ARTICLE III
NATIONAL CZECH FROSTY SHOW RULES
Rule 1: All rules in Articles I and II of the CFRC Sweepstake Show Rules will be applicable with these
additional rules of the CFRC.
Rule 2: There will be only one National Czech Frosty Show in any one year. By approval of the Executive
Board, the National Czech Frosty Show may be held with one or more other national breed specialty club
show(s), or it may be held in conjunction with an all-breed show.
Rule 3: The CFRC Secretary must request a Sanction from the ARBA for the annual National Czech
Frosty Show(s) for date and place approved by the Executive Board.
Rule 4: The CFRC will grant a free sanction, Open and Youth, to the group or club awarded the National
Czech Frosty Show.
Rule 5: No Czech Frosty sanction will be issued to a club sponsoring a show held at a show place within
a five hundred (500) mile radius of the National Czech Frosty Show on that same weekend, except for
shows held in conjunction with the National Czech Frosty Show.
Rule 6: Bids for the National Czech Frosty Show must be sent to the Secretary of the CFRC by
September 1st of the year that is approximately 18 months before the proposed National Show.
Rule 7: Clubs who have submitted a bid to host a National Czech Frosty Club will be given an opportunity
to meet with the Executive Board to discuss their bid prior to the vote to select the show site.
Rule 8: Selection of the National Czech Frosty Show site to be made during the ARBA National
Convention with the CFRC Executive Board members not present at the ARBA National Convention to
have submitted mail ballots to the Secretary prior to the ARBA National Convention.
Rule 9: The National Czech Frosty Show will be awarded by the Executive Board of the CFRC. Once the
Executive Board has awarded the National Czech Frosty Show bid, the host club may not deviate from
the information presented in their bid without the approval of the CFRC Executive Board.
Rule 10: The National Czech Frosty Show will be given free publicity in the newsletter. The CFRC will
make every effort to have members exhibit at the National Czech Frosty Show.
Rule 11: The CFRC prefers that National Czech Frosty Show judges be selected from the most recent
judges list prepared by the Judge Nomination Committee (CFRC By-Laws Article VI Section 6). Further,
the National Czech Frosty judges should not be judging the Czech Frosties at the annual ARBA National
Convention in the same year.
Rule 12: Within ninety (90) days after the National Czech Frosty Show the sponsoring group or club
holding the show must make a complete financial report to the CFRC Treasurer.
Rule 13: The CFRC Executive Board will chair the National Czech Frosty Banquet.
ARTICLE IV
ALTERATIONS AND AMENDMENTS
Rule 1: All alternations or amendments to the Sweepstakes Show Rules of the CFRC shall be done
as prescribed in Article IX of the CFRC By-Laws.
Rule 2: Alterations or amendments may originate from the general membership or the Executive Board.
Unanimously approved and agreed upon this 12th day of December 2022 by the CFRC Executive Board.
